Measure on-
and off-target
engagement
across the RBPome

RBP Selectivity Profiling (RBP-SP™) is used when prioritized compounds require confirmation of cellular target engagement and early assessment of off-target liabilities. By directly measuring compound-induced changes in endogenous RNA–protein interactions across the RNA-binding proteome, RBP-SP™ provides an unbiased, in-cell view of engagement beyond the intended target.

This service applies mass-spectrometry–based profiling to quantify RNA–protein interaction–coupled engagement across hundreds of RBPs in parallel. Because measurements are performed in intact cells without tags, reporters, or overexpression systems, RBP-SP™ preserves native biology and avoids assumptions based on protein stability or proxy readouts.

As a result, RBP-SP™ is well-suited for in-cell hit confirmation and early selectivity de-risking. The resulting RBPome-scale engagement and selectivity profiles enable confident assessment of whether observed activity is supported by direct cellular engagement of the intended RNA-binding protein, while identifying secondary and off-target perturbations before compounds advance.
